Maverick 88 Ti 22
The Atomic Maverick 88 Ti skis are an awesome offering made to satisfy the all-mountain needs of advanced and expert skiers who are looking for a responsive ski for a multitude of conditions and terrain. We talk a lot about the 88 mm underfoot category and their supreme usefulness in an all-mountain format, and for most skiers, this will and should be the only shape and style of ski that they need. While we'll never talk you out of buying multiple pairs, the Maverick 88 Ti is certainly a fine choice for a true all-mountain ski capable of carving like a race ski and floating like a powder ski. The build, shape, and construction of the Maverick 88 is mostly to blame for its success in this format. As an 88, built with a poplar wood core and two sheets of metal, these skis have a great deal of torsional stiffness, allowing them to hold an edge on any and all snow types, and are able to generate a ton of power and strength on the back end of the turn. There's a bunch of energy coming out of these skis, and it's not only the metal and wood, but also the fiberglass. This really sets the ski apart when it comes to that snappy and poppy feeling that skiers really appreciate. With an 18.2-meter turn radius, you'll me making some sweet-shaped turns on the groomers while still being able to rip through the crud and chop, days after a storm.
